108th session of the executive council of the UNWTO starts in San Sebastian

The 108th session of the Executive Council of the UNWTO has started in the Spanish city of San Sebastian.

 
At the event, Azerbaijan’s delegation is led by Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, permanent representative to the UNWTO, Anar Maharramov. The event is a great assembling of ministers, members of the Executive Council of the UNWTO, representatives of the Spanish and Basque governments.

 
Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary-General of the UNWTO, Spanish Minister of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda Alvaro Nadal, Secretary of State for Tourism Matilde Pastora Asian Gonzalez and current chairman of the organization’s Executive Council Argentine Minister of Tourism Gustavo Santos addressed the opening ceremony.

 
The session will be having discussion on various facets of the tourism sector as well as new strategies and priorities of the UNWTO.
