In the new project, the hotel will add a new tower which will boost the number of guest rooms at the northern San Diego County property from 507 to 854, as per the news release.
Chief executive officer William F. Bembenek said that the resort is a popular choice amongst the visitors and is often fully booked, which drive them to force the hotel expansion.
The resort will also be expanding its casino, freshening up its restaurants, and building a new pool and entertainment complex.
It will shut down the existing pool for construction as soon as the summer concert season ends, according to Bembenek.
The details of design are yet to be finalised but The Pala Band of Mission Indians approved the expansion in June.
