18.8% Growth in Foreign Tourist Arrivals in September, 2017 over September, 2016

Foreign Tourist arrivals to IndiaIndian Ministry of Tourism compiles monthly estimates of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) & FTAs on e-Tourist Visa on the basis of Nationality-wise, Port-wise data received from Bureau of Immigration (BOI).

 

The following are the important highlights regarding FTAs and FTAs on e-Tourist Visa from tourism during the month of September, 2017:

UK (12.1%), USA (10.2%), China (6.3%), Australia (5.5%), Germany (4.9%), France (4.3%), Spain (3.9%), Israel (3.2%) Korea (Rep.of) (3.2%), Oman (3.2%), Canada (3.1%), Singapore (2.6%), UAE (2.2%), Malaysia (2.1%) and Italy (2.1%).

 

 

New Delhi Airport (53.4%), Mumbai Airport (18.5%), Chennai Airport (6.7%),  Bengaluru Airport (6.3%), Kochi Airport (4.2%), Hyderabad Airport (2.8%), Kolkata Airport (2.2%), Amritsar Airport (1.1%), Trivandrum Airport (1.0%), Ahmadabad Airport (0.9%), Tirchy Airport (0.8%),  Dabolim (Goa) Airport (0.6%), Calicut Airport (0.5%),Jaipur Airport (0.4%) and Pune Airport(0.2%).
