The airline is so disgusted with the group’s behaviour that it has banned the return trip of one man in particular and the rest have been made to sign good behaviour agreements in order to go home.
A passenger said that the group’s behaviour was disgraceful for 10 hours as they blocked the aisle, spilt alcohol on other passengers and abused and threatened crew and trashed the cabin. They drank heavily throughout the journey and made the journey difficult for the remaining passengers.
A Thomas Cook spokesperson confirmed that this was a rare measure used for extremely disruptive behaviour. The rest of the group promised not to drink in the return flight or face being refused travel. The airline expressed their apologies to the other passengers who were impacted by disruptive behaviour in the flight. The airline however said that these severe behaviours are rare; their well trained crew is trained to handle such extreme situations.
