ASTA or the American Society of Travel Agents associated with Guiyang Municipal People’s Government and Guizhou Provincial Tourism Development Committee while entering China for the first time. Targeting the status quo of the Chinese tourism market, they mutually created a platform in terms of tourism professionals from home and abroad. Highlighting the treasured tourism route recommendations, tourism innovation, tourism negotiation and transactions and discussions regarding the development of tourism industry. Through “focusing on Chinese inbound tourism and promoting Chinese outbound tourism”, they are devoted in assisting the realization of flawless connection between tourism destinations and enterprises, understanding the exchanges and product transactions that takes place between travel agents from home and foreign countries and tourism industries to the maximum extent, and endorsing the Chinese tourism destination branding and the deepening of structural reform of the supply side.
From Nov 5-16th, ASTA China Summit 2017 hosted successfully in Guiyang. It was jointly organized by Guiyang Municipal People’s Government, Guizhou Provincial Tourism Development Committee and ASTA, while being organized by Guiyang Tourism Development Committee. It had three sections like familiarization trips, industry conferences and the travel trade show. From Nov 5th to 8th and from Nov 12th to 15th the familiarization trips inside Guizhou province were scheduled.
