Thai operates to Europe as normal

THAI-A380-Image-from-Airbus-500x300Thai Airways International (THAI) has announced that the European Union’s Aviation Safety Committee (ASC), which held a meeting on 25 November last month to review the Air Safety List, did not place carries from Thailand to the list.

Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, THAI President said, “As such, THAI will continue to operate regularly-scheduled flights to Europe, which includes 11 cities in nine countries – London, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Brussels, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm, Zurich, Milan, and Rome.

 

 
“THAI continues to operate under high safety standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA),” he added.

 

 

THAI is prepared to support and cooperate with the Civil Aviation Administration of Thailand (CAAT) in the recertification of air carriers, and supporting other Thai carriers to raise safety standards in making Thailand’s aviation industry robust.
