The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association announced today
that NH Hotel Group has been named a global partner, which places them among the elite group of
brands that have pledged year-round support for the association and LGBT-welcoming tourism. IGLTA
is the world’s leading member-based organization dedicated to LGBT travel.
The official signing of the partnership takes place at 4pm, 21 January in the NH Hotel Group
stand (10C05) at FITUR, the international travel trade fair held at Feria de Madrid in Madrid,
Spain. Members of the press are invited to attend. In celebration of the partnership, an IGLTA
member networking reception will be held later that evening at the NH Collection Eurobuilding.

continuing importance and growth of LGBT tourism,” said IGLTA President/CEO John Tanzella. “We
are thrilled to work with them to promote more options for LGBT-welcoming travel experiences
NH Hotel Group is Europe’s third-ranked business hotel chain, operating close to 400 hotels with
almost 60,000 rooms in 29 markets across Europe, the Americas and Africa. Their roster includes
properties in many popular LGBT destinations, such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bogota, Buenos
Aires, London, Madrid, and New York. The company plans to launch an LGBT microsite later this year.
