This annual 31st Garden Tourism Festival will begin from 16th February 2018 based on the theme of ‘Grow Garden – Save Delhi’ to create the awareness about the environment and show how every person living in the city can contribute in realizing the objectives of the government in maintaining clean and green city.
The 31st Garden Tourism Festival will underline how gardening has various health and environmental benefits and can help bring out an inner creativity by turning the limited space available in the city into a garden.
The Delhi Tourism Board said that over the three decades, the festival has become the biggest flower show in the capital as participants include leading nurseries, horticulture and floriculture societies and suppliers of the horticulture equipments, seeds, and fertilizers.
Delhi Tourism Festival will have special-themed gardens developed by various government civic agencies as well as private organisations and business houses.
The evenings will witness special cultural programmes to entertain the visitors and to create a festive atmosphere. 31st Garden Tourism Festival is being organised at the Garden of Five Senses, which is spread over 22 acres. It will host competitions in 30 categories. Delhi Tourism will also provide free shuttle service from Saket Metro Station to the venue and back.
