The construction of Gulliver’s Family Theme Parks is hopeful of commencing work prior to the end of this year. The very first phase, that comprises the main entrance and access roads, core parking and theme park hub might be opened to the masses in the year 2020.
The resort would also possess a beautiful theme park meant for young children.
Besides, it would also comprise an ecology centre, woodland lodges, hotel, woodland adventure centre and an education centre as well as per the plans.
The councilors of Rotherham had decided to grant planning permission for constructing a Gulliver’s theme park resort that is about to be created on the 250 acre former Pithouse West colliery site that is present in the Rother Valley.
Currently, Gulliver has to wait for 21 days for the decision of the secretary of state on its application.
Julie Dalton, the managing director of the theme park feels that they are quite confident that the secretary of the state would recognize the immense benefits of their plans to construct this theme park in the area of Rother Valley. He thinks that the theme park’s presence would play a major role in transforming the region of Rother Valley that have been disused for a prolonged period.
Gulliver’s theme park would actually be the fourth UK theme park and the best part about it is that would fuse the best elements of their existing resorts in Milton Keynes, Matlock Bath and Warrington.
