Martinique Tourism Authority announced François Baltus-Languedoc as the new chief executive.
Being at the helm of the authority he will devise and implement innovative strategies to develop the appeal of the destination. He will cater to promotion towards international markets and advanced tourism offer in Martinique.
He felt proud to represent a region that is dear to his heart and that he deeply loves. He felt honoured as Martinique has a lot to offer and he would be able to contribute a lot to the beautiful destination due to his new position.
François Baltus-Languedoc has many assets to succeed in this new challenge which includes a global vision of the high-end and mid-level hotel sector.
He has held a variety of management positions within the prestigious international groups during his 25 years in travel and international hospitality industries. He has many assets to succeed in this new challenge that includes a global vision of the high-end and mid-level hotel sector.
Karine Mousseau, tourism commissioner of Martinique mentioned with his skills and international experience he was convinced, that along with the teams of the Martinique Tourism Authority and both the public and private sector professionals, Baltus-Languedoc will be able to fashion an innovative and imaginative strategy to advance Martinique’s travel industry.
