Fifty artefacts will be travelling with the Egyptian football team to the World Cup in Russia next year.
The duration of the exhibition in Russia has not been specified.
As per each piece and size the value of insurance coverage for the artefacts in each exhibition will range from €10,000-1.2m.
It is said that the cost of repair and restoration of all damage to the artwork would borne by the borrowing state.
Elham Salah, head of the Museums Department at the Ministry of Antiquities said that the sector got a request from the Russian embassy to hold an exhibition during the World Cup.
A list of terms and conditions for the establishment of the archaeological exhibition was sent and included the insurance coverage value and the transfer regulations for the artefacts during the exhibition period.
Scheduled on 14 June to 15 July 2018, the World Cup will be held in 11 Russia cities.
This time the Egyptian team will participate in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, since 1990 it did not participate in the competition.
An international guarantee was provided by the ministry as an answer to the government’s pledge to protect Egyptian antiquities travelling abroad.
According to the number of shares participating in each fair and its insurance value a bank guarantee with a financial value was calculated.
Head of the Tourism Development Authority Hisham El-Demery said that the establishment of archaeological exhibitions abroad will promote cultural tourism and provide an opportunity to know about Egyptian civilisation to those tourists who have no knowledge of this.
