This A-shaped ‘Sky Corridor’ is a walkway extending 80m from the side of a cliff in Wansheng Ordovician Park. This latest wonder in China has been launched in Chongqing, in southwest China.
The Sky Corridor is modeled on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, which was inaugurated in 2007 and extends 21m over the canyon, making it much shorter than the new Sky Corridor. This new walkway will allow guests to walk out over cliff edge in the park and experience the geographical features of the land below, including the park’s “stone forest'” – a unique geographical formation.
This unique walkway will, no doubt, attract a lot of tourists to the Chongqing region. In 2015, the region also opened a 26m long horseshoe-shaped skywalk.
