Bentley’s Whisky Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Baku is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying a large selection of whisky and the finest cigars, on display in a walk-in humidor. Known as gentleman’s style bar with special ambiance, Bentley’s Whisky Bar has prepared an amazing Japanese whisky degustation this month.
The degustation includes the special Single Bite menu from our Executive Chef Talha Barkin, including mini bruschetta, lobster croquettes and mini beef tartar. The whiskies included in the degustation are Yamazaki 12 year old, Tagouchi Kiwami and Nikka Pure Malt Black.
Japan has been producing whisky since the 1870s, with a similar texture to Scotch whisky. For long period of time, whisky made in the Scottish style but not produced in Scotland was considered as a low standard of the traditional Scotch whisky distilleries. The reputation of Japanese whisky changed in 2001, when Nikka’s 10-year Yoichi single malt won “Best of the Best” at Whisky Magazine’s awards.
Quite popular and rare Japanese whiskies have the special reputation of exclusivity and can be purchased in Bentley’s Whisky Bar. The Japanese Whisky set with delicious bites is available in April, every day from 5:00 until 11:00 pm.
