In the current scenario, Hong Kong is a growing hub of tourism with a growing population of 7.9 million and per capita GDP of USD 37777.26 respectively. The country ranks 13 out of 141 countries in terms of Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index. Also, Hong Kong displays a promising future in terms of Health and Hygiene, safety and security, international openness, Infrastructure, ICT readiness and business environment.
However, the country lags behind in terms of natural and cultural heritage, price competitiveness and sustainability of the environment. Hong Kong is majorly known for business tourism.
We all will agree that every country visions and aspires to achieve better economic condition and affluence and wants to be a creditor nation rather than being a debtor which is not an easy task to achieve whatsoever. Public policy, political and sovereign power and law of that country play an intrinsic role on respective government.
Where we notice everlasting prosperity, there has to be persistent commitment to low tax rates, limited government, a stable currency, strong private property rights, openness to global trade and financial flows, and sensible regulation altogether.
