Four Seasons Hotel Beirut will host Chinese New Year celebrations in its restaurants and Spa as guests come together to ring in the Year of the Rooster. Chinese New Year 2017 falls on Saturday, January 28 but the main festivities will take place as of January 20 until 29. Guests will be able to join in the celebrations with Chinese-inspired events for all ages.
A Journey into Chinese Gastronomy
Four Seasons Hotel Beirut will welcome Chef Wilson Zhang for a celebration of traditional Chinese cuisine from January 20 to 29, 2017. Born and raised in Henan Province, Chef Zhang draws on influences ranging from his grandmother’s cooking to the food he discovered while living in Beijing. As an ambassador of Chinese cuisine, Zhang will bring his eclectic fare to Four Seasons Hotel Beirut. Guests will have an opportunity to delight in his signature dishes that embrace a wide range of cooking with different ingredients and cooking methods. The gastronomy journey will kick off with a Chinese decoration, complemented by traditional music at The Grill restaurant.
A La Carte Menus at The Grill and Lounge
Experience the real taste of authentic cuisine and discover China’s most beloved dishes stretching from Sichuanese hot pot to Beijing monggu lamb and Shangdong duck rolls. Guests can end their lunch or dinner on a sweet note with a white fungus soup mixed with lotus seeds and dates.
Sunday Lunch at The Grill
Based on the Chinese gastronomy journey, Sunday Lunch will be themed as China Town. It will be all about the crustacean creations; but there’s plenty for all the family to enjoy, from grilled steaks and salads to dumplings, noodles, soups and chicken. Food surely Chinese would be proud of.
Chinese Bites and Signature Drink
Offering a small but delicious bites menu to choose from, The Bar welcomes its guests to sit back with a signature drink and relax to the sounds of music.
Imperial Dragon Massage At The Spa
The Imperial Dragon massage will take guests on a sensual journey using ancient Chinese traditions. The experience concentrates on specific pressure points of the body. The Zen-inspired Chinese massage involves stretching, kneading and pinching the muscles to relieve stress and pain.
