The UK travel association, ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) has recently highlighted the region of Bermuda as an important tourist destination in its report about the travel trends in the year 2017.
It was mentioned by the Association that Bermuda is enriched with turquoise water, pink-sand beaches and a beautiful cultural fusion of West Indian, Portuguese, African, North American and British travellers.
The organization also said in the Travel Trends report that it identifies the major trends in travel, and also, it has highlighted as many as 12 destinations that would stand out in the year 2017.
ABTA said that the 35th America’s Cup would be taking place in Bermuda in the month of June.
The association added that visitors would be welcomed warmly in this spectacular Caribbean island that is quite reputed for its turquoise waters as well as pink-sand beaches. Bermuda, said ABTA is a wonderful island that comprises a string of 181 islands that are dotted with amazingly painted houses and strikingly beautiful mansions.
Bermuda has a rich colonial past.
This implies that Bermuda largely benefits from a combination of the influences of West India, Portuguese, Africa and North America.
ABTA also feels that the warm and hospitable ambiance of Bermuda would make it really impressive for tourists since it is beautified with bougainvillea and frangipani flowers, apart from offering a variety of sea food.
Moreover, the islands are fringed with reefs that makes it a beautiful site for diving.
