ABTA: One in four Brits book a holiday early to enjoy more

According to ABTA the sole reason for people booking in advance was to have more time to look forward to a holiday.

 

 

The driving factors behind booking an advance holiday is the excitement of anticipation, thinking about the discovery of new places, weather, local food, drinks and a good time to relax.

 

As per a research for ABTA by YouGov one in four Brits book their holiday early so that they can look forward to their trips. Moreover around 41 percent feel the reason for booking early was that people felt they got a better deal on their holiday.

 

 

 

Usually the sales period in the travel industry is in January and February. There are many deals, offers and free child places available that helps in saving hundreds of pounds which has an affect on the overall price of the holiday.

 

 

 

Around 28 per cent prefer booking early for increased choice and being able to explore the activities they want to.

 

 

 

Further, ABTA is providing tips and advice to help travellers make the most of the early booking season.  From how to spot a package holiday providing the greatest level of protection and information regarding travel information, all are taken care of.

 

 

Victoria Bacon, ABTA director of brand and business development said that a well-earned break is something which many people take great enjoyment out of looking forward.

 

 

The best part about the whole experience is the holiday itself but the excitement of anticipation from planning from what to see and do is pretty exciting.

 

 

Many people turn their attention to holidays for the year ahead during the festive period. It is an ideal time to book and there are abundant deals and offers available. So, to get a holiday of one’s choice booking early helps to get the best value for money.
