Of late, a joint agreement has been signed between AccorHotels and LP Holding in order to build up three new hotels in Myanmar. The joint venture will witness the development and opening of Mercure Mandalay Hill Resort in the second quarter of this year. On the other hand, development of Pullman Yangon Centrepoint and Mandalay Hill Resort MGallery by Sofitel scheduled to open in 2017 and 2020 respectively.
To quote Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels, Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, ‘we are very pleased to partner with LP Holding with the development of these three new properties in Myanmar.
The three hotels are situated in strategic locations in Yangon and Mandalay, for tourists and business guests alike.
