ACI-NA Congratulates Kelly on DHS Confirmation

downloadAirports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today congratulated retired Marine General John F. Kelly on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Secretary Kelly was confirmed and sworn-in on Friday, January 20, 2017. As the Voice of Airports® in North America, ACI-NA is the trade association representing commercial service airports in the United States and Canada.

“I congratulate Secretary John Kelly on his confirmation by the Senate to lead the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in President Trump’s administration. Airports rely on a strong, collaborative relationship with the Department, including the Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, to ensure the highest levels of security and efficiency to enhance the travel experience. As security threats around the world continue to evolve at a rapid pace, airports look forward to working with Secretary Kelly to address the significant and complex security and passenger facilitation challenges that exist in the airport environment.”
