leading buyers and suppliers of business travel will mark their presence. The
forum ‘Future-Proof Your Travel Program’ will be held on March 18 in San
Commencing with the registration formality, this will be followed by the opening
remarks and a counterpoint session on the benefits, risks, and challenges of
implementing an open booking policy as part of your program where the audience
will be the jury. This session will reveal how to evaluate whether an open
booking policy could be right for your program and what steps to consider when
implementing one. Topics of debate will address traveler tracking and duty of care,
gamification and incentivization, and reimbursement policy structures.
This will be followed by another “Global” vs. “Glocal” session where a panel
of corporate buyers and travel professionals will discuss strategies for creating
policies for global programs around multiple geographic, cultural, and technical
boundaries. Panelists will respond to questions about finding balance between what
works as a global policy, and which elements of their programs are better managed
on a regional or local level.
The event will close with a breakout discussions led by early adopters of new
technologies, strategies, and theories.
