Cats, dogs and other pocket-sized pets can easily be ‘checked-in’ for a vacation at this unique hotel that has some beautiful personalized pet facilities, located adjacent to Adelaide Airport.
Aaron China who is the Guide Dogs SA chief executive said that the $9 million hotel was scheduled to generate a generous amount of revenue for the organization, about $1 million annually in the long term. He added that they would be offering a spectacular facility for cats and dogs to actually enjoy a real holiday and even enabling their owners to let their hair down and enjoy a comfortable getaway.
The hotel is called Beau’s, in the honor of the first dog trained in Australia in 1951.
The website of the hotel said that Beau provides climate-controlled suites, grooming, doggy day care and much more.
The operation has 262 standard and luxury rooms, indoor and outdoor play areas including a special water feature for the canine creatures. The pet owners would also be able to enjoy the facility of video calls with their furry friends while they might be away on business trips or holidays.
Guide Dogs SA said that it houses many animals that now sleep inside.
It also feels that this hotel would represent the first not-for-profit pet hotel in Australia.
