After Brexit vote, international tourists to the UK have doubled

After Brexit voteLast year, in today’s date, the vote for Brexit took place.

It was recommended that the improbability of it has the possibility to affect UK tourism.
Nonetheless, new research showed that this hasn’t proven to be the case in previous years. On the contrary, it appears to have increased whatsoever because the vote is usually great news for the tourism sector.

As per Barclays Destination UK report, more than 7,000 international vacationers found the UK as a hot destination for travel.

Over sixty percent of them confirmed that they were even more interested in exploring the UK than they did last year.

That increased to 97 percent of the visitors who expressed their wish to see the country at one point in time. In January and February alone, £2.7 billion were spent by international visitors.

As per recent news, Britons choosing the UK over foreign holidays abroad gets highlighted.

The research also points out that more than a third of Britons would choose to stay in the country to spend their vacation this year. They want to explore more of the UK, showing a pride in the country. At the same time as well-liked destinations abroad such as Spain and Croatia are still high on holidaymakers list.
