Over sixty percent of them confirmed that they were even more interested in exploring the UK than they did last year.
That increased to 97 percent of the visitors who expressed their wish to see the country at one point in time. In January and February alone, £2.7 billion were spent by international visitors.
As per recent news, Britons choosing the UK over foreign holidays abroad gets highlighted.
The research also points out that more than a third of Britons would choose to stay in the country to spend their vacation this year. They want to explore more of the UK, showing a pride in the country. At the same time as well-liked destinations abroad such as Spain and Croatia are still high on holidaymakers list.
