Latvian carrier airBaltic is set to include popular skiing destinations of Salzburg, Verona and Poprad in the High Tatras Mountains by the coming winter.
There will be increased frequency from Riga to London, Hamburg and Prague and has improved services for the winter of 2017.
There will be addition of new morning and evening flights with the introduction of more convenient flights to Warsaw.
Wolfgang Reuss, senior vice president, network management, airBaltic mentioned that this summer direct flights were introduced to Geneva, Tampere and Gothenburg. But the existing passenger demand for these routes has been high making it viable for the carrier to fly to these places throughout the year.
The business and leisure travellers will have the luxury of boarding to and fro flights with the addition of Abu Dhabi in the route map.
From October 29th , the airBaltic is expected to ply four times weekly via the Riga- Abu Dhabi route with the brand new Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
The codeshare partner on the route will be Etihad Airways.
