They are seeing strong demand from the Estonian market. airBaltic offers the best connectivity to and from Tallinn, fostering better business relations and more leisure travel opportunities to and from the Estonian capital. Following growing local demand, this airline has been increasing its presence in Estonia, by adding more direct destinations from Tallinn Airport.
By launching three new direct routes this year the airline now offers a total of 12 direct services from Tallinn. As of June, airBaltic is basing two of its Airbus A220-300 in Tallinn. It is the greenest commercial aircraft currently available. It is the first aircraft to have a transparent declaration of the life-cycle environmental impact, helping to reduce CO 2 and NO X emissions by 20 per cent and 50 per cent respectively.
