Airbnb CFO will leave the company

Laurence TosyAirbnb has declared that its current chief financial officer (CFO) would leave the company.

 

Laurence Tosy who had held the role of the CFO since 2015 would be departing the brand and had said that he would dedicate his full time to Weston Capital Partners, his investment fund.

 

Apart from this Airbnb has also announced the promotion of Belinda Johnson, previously the chief business affairs and legal officer of the company, to the number 2 role of the chief operating officer.

 

Johnson had been at Airbnb for six years after spending over 141 years at Yahoo in roles including deputy general counsel.

 

The CEO of Airbnb Brian Chesky mentioned in a blog post that as their COO Belinda would be responsible for the teams enabling their businesses to function and also their legacy, policy and communications teams.

 

Belinda and he, as per his statement prefer approaching things in unique ways and that she inspires him professionally in meeting new goals.
