Yesterday Airbnb introduced trips, tour and activity packages in Thailand. Their main focus remains those who book accommodations via their online platform. Trips will improve world’s sharing economy tendency as confirmed by Airbnb’s co-founder and chief product officer Joe Gebbia as younger crowd repeatedly try new ways of exploring the world.
To quote Joe Gebbia, ‘’ the world has been changing and travelling is not just about staying in luxury accommodations, but also mixing with the locals at affordable prices.’’ He said that these trips will take the company to become an end-to-end hospitality solutions which comprises home, experiences and places bringing to the forefront outstanding local experiences of Thailand. To quote Gebbia, ‘’ we’re adding bookable local experiences designed by Thai experts to our service, whereby guests can explore the city in an authentic manner.’’ Three local experiences like Muay Thai by Matthew Deane, Thai fruit carving by Waewmanee Saikaew and local flavors in a glass by Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn are well-known. Also, those places which create the majority of the local expertise are opened to access by the trips increasing more than 800 experiences available in 13 cities across the globe.
