Scheduled national traffic continues to grow with +4.9%, an increase of 6.3% since the beginning of the year. The number one destination from Bordeaux, Paris (Charles de Gaulle +6% and Orly +7.7%), scored highly. All routes experienced positive growth, ranging from 0.8% (Lyon) to 48.2% (Lille) including 27.5% (Nice), except for Marseille following Ryanair’s decision to stop the flight.
Corsica’s success should be noted at the start of this autumn season, with Ajaccio (+33.6%) and Bastia (+14.6%) continuing to fly through the winter season with Volotea.
Scheduled international flights have increased by 4.1% in October and by 6.6% since the beginning of 2013. Milan (+32.8%), Bristol (+25.5%), Amsterdam (+22.8%), Venice (+22.7%) and Dublin (+12.5%) all contributed to the growth of European traffic.
Switzerland reached +20% with its two destinations, Geneva and Basel, both of which operate with easyJet.
Conversely, charter activity continues its slide with -31.9% due to the sharp drop in available seats with all operators.
