Allegiant today launches nonstop service from one of Allegiant’s newest cities, Albuquerque, New Mexico to Las Vegas. To celebrate, the company, known for its exceptional travel deals, is offering one-way fares on the new route for as low as $29.*
“Allegiant is looking forward to giving Albuquerque travelers new options to visit the Entertainment Capital of the World,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer. “We’re confident Albuquerque residents will take advantage of these convenient flights and bring more visitors and economic growth to Las Vegas.”
New year-round service from Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) to McCarran International Airport (LAS) will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to Las Vegas. The new route will bring more than 17,000 new travelers to Las Vegas and generate an estimated $9.9 million in annual visitor spending.
“McCarran International Airport is pleased to welcome Allegiant’s newest flights to Las Vegas,” said Clark County Aviation Director Rosemary A. Vassiliadis, who oversees the nation’s ninth-busiest airport. “We know from experience that travelers largely prefer nonstop flights, and with these new offerings Allegiant will soon make it easier for more people to experience all Las Vegas has to offer.”
“We are delighted that our partners at Allegiant continue to expand service to Las Vegas,” said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “With a new record of more than 42 million visitors last year, every new seat provides opportunity for continued growth.”
Allegiant’s innovative business model has allowed it to grow from one plane and one route to offering access to low-cost flights in over 100 cities nationwide, more than any other domestic low-cost carrier. Allegiant passengers can enjoy unique savings by bundling their air, hotel, car and even activity and attraction reservations together for less.
