The Theatre Festival attracts over 60,000 visitors each year who arrive to enjoy a one-of-a-kind cultural experience. The main for the festival location is the Corral de Comedias, a stage that remains just as active as it was nearly 400 years ago.
For one month both in theatres across Spain a host of diverse international programme of performing and visual arts is held. The programme will be topped off with workshops and events in which participants of all ages will discover different ways to enjoy theatre in the summer.
The Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival will kick off on July 7 and run until July 31.
