AmaWaterways today announced 2016 dates, itineraries and pricing for its popular travel agent FAM program – ‘Seminars on the River.’ These 12 sailings give travel professionals the chance to enjoy some of the line’s most popular river cruise itineraries, hosted by expert sales team members who share in-depth product knowledge, strategies and key sales tips while onboard. Of special note is the November 18 Romantic Danube seminar cruise which will focus on building themed groups. The cruises provide agents with firsthand experience to AmaWaterways’ top-notch customer service, award-winning cuisine and an abundance of included daily excursions.
“Since starting AmaWaterways in 2002, the travel agent community has been vital to our continued success as we grew our fleet to the 21 ships that we have today,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways. “We value the hard work and dedication of this important group and will continue to offer a wide range of educational programs and sales and marketing resources to help them succeed. This year’s FAM program provides a cost effective way for agents to get the hands-on experience needed to better understand our product and help first-time river cruising agents, as well as seasoned AmaWaterways specialists, achieve even greater success!”
The 2016 FAM program’s itineraries include:
