Sponsored by Air Cargo News, a leading air cargo industry publication, the awards were based on the voting results of more than 18,000 supply chain professionals. Shippers, forwarders and partners were asked to vote for the airline that provided the best overall customer experience and for the best service provider in each region.
Jim Butler, president of American Airlines Cargo, accepted the award in London during a black tie gala at the Lancaster London Hotel on April 23. Attended by over 450 industry professionals, including employees from American’s Europe and headquarters teams, the event is considered a prestigious night for the entire air cargo industry.
“I want to thank our customers and partners for the votes and consistent support provided over the years,” said Butler. “This award is a true testament to our colleagues that deliver an efficient and seamless product on a global scale. I’m truly proud of all we’ve accomplished thus far and look forward to another year of growing and succeeding together.”
