American Airlines flight makes emergency landing in St. Louis

American AirlinesA flight of American Airlines was compelled to be diverted to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Thursday morning.


The flight 534 of American Airlines was travelling to the region of Phoenix from Colombo, in Ohio. During this point of time, it was diverted to St. Louis for the purpose of an emergency landing around 8.14 a.m.


The aircraft had been carrying 113 passengers and five crew members on board the flight at the time of the emergency landing.


Around 9.20 a.m., the airport authorities tweeted that they were fully operational even as the security check of the aircraft was going on.


The officials said that a security check of the aircraft had been performed owing to an abundance of caution. Around 10.40 a.m., American Airlines said that the incident seemed to be non-credible by the law enforcement.


The flight would then continue on its journey towards Phoenix.
