American Airlines is going to offer the seasonal services from Dallas Fort Worth Airport to Reykjavik’s Keflavík International Airport, Iceland as the popularity is going to reach at its height as a tourism destination.
American Airlines is one of several airlines, including budget carrier WOW and Icelandair, to add service between DFW and Iceland this year.
American Airlines spokeswoman Lakesha Brown said that Reykjavik is Iceland’s capital city and has become a very popular leisure destination for summer travel. They are always looking at ways to take customers where they want to go, and when there’s an opportunity to add a new destination to the world’s largest network.
American Airlines will offer flights to Iceland on its 176-seat Boeing 757-200 jets, which are equipped with fully reclining business-class seats. The guests can make reservations beginning Monday, November 20th, 2017.
The travel to Iceland has exploded in recent years. This country is known for its gorgeous scenery, glaciers and relatively affordable travel prices.
