This event is the leading travel show for the intercity bus industry in the United States and Canada. This year’s meeting in Cleveland attracted over $3,400 tour operators, exhibitors and suppliers and had ended up generating $115.9 million in booked business during the event and immediately afterward, as per the ABA.
The event was scheduled for the week of 30th January to 2nd February 2021 and it would be the second time that the convention has arrived in Baltimore.
Previously it was held there in the year 2001. The group boasts of over 3,800 members comprising motor coach and tour companies, tourism organizations and also suppliers of bus products and services.
In a statement Peter Pantuso who is the ABA President and CEO mentioned that the city has transformed itself over the last 20 years to a multi-cultural, culinary city that is quite easy to go around and leaves one with memorable experiences.
He then went on to add that it is an ideal group destination city.
Over 4 million bus tour visitors had arrived in Maryland in 2017 that had generated about $2 billion into our economy as stated by Larry Hogan in a statement.
