An American Eagle aircraft traveling between Dallas and Madison, Wis carrying 44 passengers made an emergency landing at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport after the pilot reported problems with the directional steering.
The pilot turned the aircraft for security reasons. No one was injured. The airport operations were suspended for 19 minutes. The passengers were taken off the aircraft, which was towed from the runway to a maintenance area. The passengers were put on a separate flight.

A Charlotte bound US Airways carrying 28 passengers made an emergency landing at PTI in Greensboro due to technical fault.
