According to the American Samoa Visitors Bureau, the additional cruise vessel named the Sea Princess would dock at Pago Pago during the month of April. This would happen the same day as the Emerald Princess would make its maiden voyage to the territory.
One of the news agencies have also reported that the two cruise ships would usher in a total of 8,199 passengers as well as crew members to the region of American Samoa on 22nd April.
So naturally, it would make sure that a record number of cruise ship passengers arrive in this part of the world.
The Visitors Bureau also said that 13 cruise liners would definitely bring about 31,000 people to this territory in 2017.
In the year 2014, 31,932 people had arrived in American Samoa on 20 cruise ships. The governor of this area named Lolo Matalasi Moliga said that port side market vendors were able to generate as much as $194,000 in revenue that year.
