Nick Johnson, the first American Pokemon Go master who had claimed to have caught all the Pokemon monsters has won a free world trip. He has been asked to catch the region-exclusive Pokemon monster in order to add to his collection!
Last week, this young man declared himself a ‘Pokemon Master’ after he had caught as many as 142 characters from the popular augmented reality mobile video game.
However, Nickson is yet to complete his collection simply because Pokemon Go currently has 151 pocket monsters waiting for players to be captured.
Mediapersons have been saying that certain legendary characters like Moltres, Articuno and Zapcos are yet to be included in the game.
It has also been reported that certain characters are found only in particular regions. For instance, a character known as Mr.Mime has been observed only in Tauros in North America and also Western Europe. Another character, Farfetch’d, seems to be exclusive for Kangashkhan in Australia and Asia. However, Mewtwo, Mew and Ditto are some of the characters that have not been spotted as yet.
The Pokedex is the indicator that determines of a Pokemon Go player has been able to capture the characters. This Pokedex increases in size as players captures a new Pokemon character.
Therefore, Johnson still has a lot of characters to capture before he finally completes his collection.
Luckily, Nick Johnson is receiving assistance from his friends at Marriott Rewards and Expedia who wish to encourage him to catch all the remaining Pokemon characters that are currently unavailable in the US.
Johnson said that he would be hunting for Reddit on his flight and that he would be travelling far and wide in his search for all the monsters. He also added that he would be visiting Paris and France with an aim to capture Mr. Mime, who is exclusive to Europe.
On the following day, he and his wife, who have been married recently would be travelling to Hong Kong to look for Farfetched. Thereafter, he would be accompanying his wife to Sydney in Australis in order to catch Kangashkan.
Marriott Rewards would be paying for the charges of his accommodation in all the cities he visits. Expedia would take care of the flight expenses borne by Johnson and his wife.
