AMResorts, an Apple Leisure Group® announced the promotion of Colette Baruth to Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management & Distribution to meet the needs of the company’s growing portfolio and client needs.
Baruth will lead all strategic initiatives with an eye on further fueling the company’s expansion in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America. Simultaneously, Baruth will oversee initiatives and be a fundamental driver to innovation in the U.S., Canada and international markets.
“In addition to 20 years of extensive experience, Colette brings invaluable out-of-the-box thinking to our six resort brands,” said Gonzalo del Peón, President of AMResorts. “She consistently brings new opportunities to the table and the kind of goal-driven strategy that delivers meaningful results to our partners.”
Baruth previously served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management & Distribution for AMResorts for four years. During her tenure, she successfully led worldwide contracting, partnership relations, global sales and marketing strategies and resources, as well as managed brand strategies and corporate policies for AMResorts’ six award-winning brands.
“Colette continues to bring her strong leadership philosophy to her team, leading with passion, hard work and recognizing her team’s successes along the way,” added del Peón. “We look forward to seeing this team continue to thrive with her direction.”
Prior to working with AMResorts, Baruth served as Vice President of Product Strategy at GOGO Vacations as well as Vice President of Product Development for Mexico, Central and South America, and was responsible for profitability, pricing, product distribution, promotional strategy and more.
