The message contains ANA’s commitment to design and provide in-flight and airport services that can be enjoyed by all customers regardless of the culture, language, nationality, age, gender or disability, and to serve as a bridge connecting Japan with the world beyond 2020 in line with the contribution to the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games through our products and services.
From February, ANA launches a special website for the Tokyo 2020 Games and features the story of Shingo Kunieda, a Japanese wheelchair tennis player sponsored by ANA, in its in-flight entertainment magazine. More stories will come out on the website introducing world’s top athletes and teams, special features on Paralympic sports, and initiatives ANA will take toward the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Also from mid-February, ANA will broadcast TV commercials and advertisements in Japan and overseas featuring Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, won total of 6 gold medals in 100m and 200m races and as part of the 4x100m team at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympic Games.
ANA is starting a movement in the run up to 2020 through a commitment to promoting public interest in sports, with a special focus on sports for persons with disabilities, as well as offering a universal service for security and comfort of the passengers around the world.
ANA continues to promote various activities towards the Tokyo 2020 Games and aims to become a “runway” that will help people in Japan and around the world to “take off” for their future.
