The State Government of Andhra Pradesh will organize the investor’s meet in the city of Visakhapatnam to promote the tourism.
The quick clearance of project proposals and simplification of procedures is expected to ensure the finalisation of at least a few projects at the ‘Regional tourism investors and stakeholders meet’ to be held in the city on October 27, 2017.
The State Government of Andhra Pradesh is keen on developing Visakhapatnam as tourist capital of Andhra Pradesh by tapping the tourist potential of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) president G. Sambasiva Rao and its Tourism Sub-Committee chairman K. Lakshminarayana told the media here on Tuesday.
The State Government of Andhra Pradesh was also keen on exploring the tourist latent of other regions in the State and Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya had a series of meetings with APCCIF, popularly known as AP Chambers, to aggressively promote tourism in the State.
On the Minister’s suggestion, APCCIF in association with AP Tourism Department was organising the regional meets.
The tourism projects pertaining to Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts would be discussed at the meet, the second would be held in Hyderabad on November 4th,2017, the meets to be held at Kurnool, Tirupati and Vijayawada have been tentatively fixed for November 10, November 17 and November 24.
They said the Tourism Minister of Andhra Pradesh would contribute in the regional meet in Visakhapatnam.
All the senior officials of the Tourism and Culture Department of Andhra Pradesh and local authorities would attend the meet.
There would be district-wise presentations on the tourist “potential and opportunities” available.
