Recently, Andhra Pradesh Tourism is taking some major steps and they are doing aggressive advertisements and promotions in different travel-trade fairs and conferences in India.
The decision of land acquisition was taken at a meeting of the state tourism department. The District level officials were instructed to set up new projects in the unutilised lands of the department, where the Tourism Board will erect the Eco tourism areas.
The information of unused lands should be digitised by 20th August. Addressing the officials, State Tourism and Cultural Department Secretary, Mukesh Kumar Meena directed to prepare an action plan for the various projects in the unoccupied lands, which are under the State Department Tourism.
The officials of the State Tourism Board of Andhra Pradesh were also asked to review the future requirement of lands for the department. He directed that the development steps should be taken to transfer lands from revenue department to tourism department.
Himanshu Shukla, the Chairman and the Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, a special officer Murthy and several officials took part in the meeting for the discussion on the new projects of the tourism department.
