Annalisa Burgos wins SKAL tourism personality award 2018

Annalisa Burgos, a seasoned international journalist was recognized regarding her contributions in endorsing sustainable tourism at the 28th SKAL International Makati Tourism Personality Awards that took place on August 30th at the New World Hotel in Makati.

 
Annalisa, who anchors “Early Edition” on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel and works as the managing editor of the channel, won in the Broadcast Media category.

 
“It’s a privilege to receive this award and to promote the Philippines as a tourist destination,” said Annalisa. “Part of my goal as a journalist is to spread the love for the Philippines, show the world that our country has so many different things to offer, while also encouraging Filipinos to travel overseas. The world is small and everyone can work together.”

 
At present, Annalisa produces as well as hosts a segment on ANC called “Food Diplomacy,” where she talks with international dignitaries to regarding food, culture, politics, bilateral ties, and international issues.

 
Before joining ANC, Annalisa was a journalist in eight different cities across the globe including as a writer for The Food Channel in the US and organize food travel series on Singapore-based Channel News Asia.

 
The 28th SKAL International Makati Tourism Personality Awards recognizes and honors individuals whose achievements and contribution have impacted the tourism industry immensely.
