The Bermuda Tourism Authority has opened registration for next month’s Annual Bermuda Tourism Summit. The registration fee is $35 which includes breakfast, lunch, refreshments and a networking cocktail reception.
The one-day summit was designed to prompt dialogue concerning trends affecting the tourism industry around the world while simultaneously discussing strategies to improve the tourism industry in Bermuda, Bermuda Tourism Authority said.
The 2016 summit is designed to prepare the industry for the 2017 calendar year of tourism business and set the table for productive partnerships.
A spokesman said, “Visiting experts will discuss trade trends around the global vacation rental business, tips for articulating Bermuda’s brand voice and appealing to travellers’ emotions to improve the visitor experience.
“Adam Sacks, founder and president of Tourism Economics, will return for the second consecutive year to provide his macro view of the global economy and what that means for the travel industry.”
Bermuda Premier Michael Dunkley and David Dodwell, chairman of the BTA, are also set to address the summit.
Registration and payment can be submitted online. The deadline for registration is November 10.
The summit will be held at the Hamilton Princess Hotel and Beach Club on November 16.
