Aqua Restaurant, inspired by the beautiful Bosphorus, hosts wines of famous Tuscan winery Cecchi between December 2 and 8. 2013. Executive Chef Sebastiano Spriveri will prepare a special dinner menu with a selection of Tuscan dishes complimented by the Cecchi classics at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus.
There will be a selected a la carte menu as well as a six-course degustation menu at Aqua every night during the Tuscan week. The amuse bouche will be Tuscan chicken liver paté with country bread bruschetta. Lobster salad, which is the mouth watering appetizer of this special menu, will be followed by a delicious midcourse of duck stuffed raviolini del plin.
As main dish, the menu will offer two options so that guests can enjoy either fish or meat. However, it will not be very easy to make a choice between Chef’s poached sturgeon filet, roasted langoustine with black truffle, and zimino of lentil ragout or braised beef cheek wıth chianti classico and celeriac purée, smoked eel, and chocolate and wine sauce. The main dish will be followed by pecorino toscano sheep cheese.
For those who have a sweet tooth, the most exciting course will certainly be the dessert, which will be poached pear, orange chocolate crunch tart, and vanilla almond ice cream.
