ARINC Incorporated today announced that John Monto, Director of Radio Technology Solutions at ARINC, will be speaking at the inaugural TETRA Congress Americas conference, November 14-15, 2013 at the New York Hilton Midtown.The TETRA Congress Americas was launched following the recent FCC approval for its use in the United States. The event will focus on the potential benefits TETRA could bring to mission critical radio users, notably in the transportation and utilities sectors.
During his session, Mr. Monto will be examining the implementation process and operational requirements of ARINC’s TETRA deployment at LAX. He will also discuss the benefits of TETRA in an airport environment, including voice clarity for radio communication, improved RF spectrum efficiency with multiple simultaneous conversations, and an open standard that optimizes total cost of ownership.
