Associated Luxury Hotels International , which serves the North American Meetings & Incentive marketplace with its membership of more than 250 luxury-level M&I-focused hotels and resorts worldwide, recently held the “ALHI 2016 Insurance & Financial Leadership Exchange” conference. Conducted from April 20-22, 2016 at Virginia’s stunning 340-acre Salamander Resort & Spa, this annual conference brought together 20 senior-level insurance & financial professionals with 20 senior-level hotel executives from ALHI’s distinguished Member hotels & resorts. The conference included a peer-to-peer exchange to share solutions and best practices on such issues as “Meetings and Performance Metrics,” “Trends in Incentives,” and “Risk Management in Today’s Global Business Environment.” Guest speakers addressed topics ranging from leadership to global trends and forecasts.
In addition, the IFLE conference featured a welcome address by noted Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, CEO of Salamander Hotels and Resorts, co-founder of the BET network, and, among her holdings, ownership in three professional sports teams .
