Associated Luxury Hotels International Recognizes Kathie Eddy As “2015 ALHI Sales Executive Of The Year”

1During Associated Luxury Hotels International’s recent Global Sales meeting in Orlando, Florida, ALHI Vice President of Sales for the South Region Kathie Eddy (center) was recognized as the “2015 ALHI Sales Executive of the Year.” She is pictured here receiving the award from ALHI President Jim Schultenover (left) and ALHI CEO David Gabri at the ceremony, which was held at the beautiful Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando®, a distinguished Member of ALHI. Eddy is based in ALHI’s Global Sales Office in Atlanta, and has been on the ALHI Global Sales South Region team for 10 years.

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is the longest established and leading independent Global Sales Organization specifically serving the North American meetings & incentive marketplace. Beginning in 1986, the dues-based “Associated” Luxury Hotels has provided sales services for its independent and emerging brand Member hotels and resorts. ALHI now provides authorized sales support exclusively for its portfolio of more than 250 luxury-level hotels and resorts worldwide that are Meeting, Convention & Incentive program focused. The portfolio has grown to over 115,000 rooms and suites, with over 10 million square feet of meeting/function space, which provides opportunity for groups of all sizes. Starting with only one office in Washington, D.C. in 1986, ALHI now has 20 professionally staffed GSO offices, from coast-to-coast throughout North America.

Also over the past 30 years ALHI has grown to strategically address increased market demand for its AAA Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts beyond America. ALHI’s portfolio now features more than 100 international hotel and resort options in 45 countries, plus Alliance members to assist planners that include Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in over 100 destinations, and a variety of 23 luxury-level cruise ships set for the M&I markets, to complement its extensive luxury portfolio in the U.S. ALHI is a member dues-funded Global Sales Organization, so there is no cost to the planning organization to capitalize upon the access with the ALHI GSO professionals, providing valuable expertise, solution options, and ease of discussing viable opportunities for programs.
