At Baku Tourism Exhibition, Azerbaijan President visits the Georgia stall

The National Tourism Administration (GNTA) of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development took part in the annual Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair or AITF 2018 in Baku. Here, Ilham Alyiev, the President of the country came to the Georgian stand and got acquainted with Georgia’s tourism products.

 
Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of United Nations World Tourism Organization, was also present at the event. Giorgi Chogovadze, the Head of the GNTA, introduced the President of Azerbaijan to the tourism potential and products of Georgia.

 
From 5th April, the important annual Fair, the AITF 2018 started in Baku Expo Center and was concluded on April 7.

 
The 17th exhibition on one platform has congregated the representatives of national and regional tourism organizations, government structures and media to reflect the dynamics in terms of incoming and outgoing tourism in the region.

 
The exhibition is the site for hosting significant meetings, signing contracts and announcing new programs and destinations.

 
AITF 2018 exhibition greeted 277 companies and organizations in total from 20 countries worldwide.
