Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Emirate’s devoted entity in terms of culture, arts and heritage has disclosed about its successful participation in the World Travel Market that took place from 6th to 8th November in the city of London. The Authority was at the UAE stand at WTM. At the vent, it appeared in partnership with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai.
Dubai’s prosperous artistic and cultural landscape was immensely highlighted by Dubai Culture. It showcased the efforts that enhanced Dubai’s growing creative scene, and encouraged events, activities and projects like the Etihad Museum and the cultural agenda for 2018. The representatives of the Authority also distributed the art exhibition brochures and pamplets for Dubai Art Season 2018.
Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of Dubai Culture, commented: “At World Travel Market, Dubai Culture has been able to showcase its activities on Dubai’s stand along with other government institutions. We see such exhibitions as an opportunity to highlight our pivotal role in stimulating and encouraging cultural tourism in the UAE in general. During the exhibition, we introduced the activities and initiatives that we launch and organise throughout the year to reflect the vision of our leadership. We are very pleased with the high footfall and interest we generated, especially around the Etihad Museum and the role it plays in informing the local and international public about the history and the establishment of the UAE, and the dedication of the Founding Fathers in the creation of the union.”
In London, the World Travel Market was hosted catering a range of UK destinations, different industry sectors and chances to meet international travel experts, and luring foreign companies working in this field.
