Atlantic City Rail Line was closed temporarily for Conrail Delair Bridge problem

Atlantic City Rail Line Atlantic City Rail Line, a railway line operated by New Jersey Transit in the United States between Philadalphia, Pennsylvania and Atlantic City and New Jersey has cancelled two trains leaving from the Pennsauken Station and suspended service on the Atlantic City Rail Line due to a problem with the Conrail Delair Bridge.

 

 

According to an alert, the Atlantic City Rail Line service was provisionally suspended due to the bridge being stuck in the open position.

 

This railway bridge spans over the Delaware River. It has a vertical lift section to accommodate passing ships.

 

 

There is a substitute bus service, which is available between Philadelphia 30th Street station and Cherry Hill Station. At 8 p.m., New Jersey Transit reported service resumed.
